23 Then they ran and took him from there. And when he stood among the people, he was taller than any of the people from his shoulders upward. (1Sa 9:2) 

New International Version

23 They ran and brought him out, and as he stood among the people he was a head taller than any of the others. 

New International Reader’s Version

23 So they ran over there and brought him out. When he stood up, the people saw that he was a head taller than any of them. 

King James Version

23 And they ran and fetched him thence: and when he stood among the people, he was higher than any of the people from his shoulders and upward.
