22 But Hannah did not go up, for she said to her husband, “As soon as the child is weaned, I will bring him, so that he may appear in the presence of the Lord and dwell there forever.” (1Sa 1:11; 1Sa 1:28; 1Sa 2:11; 1Sa 2:18; 1Sa 3:1)

New International Version

22 Hannah did not go. She said to her husband, ‘After the boy is weaned, I will take him and present him before the Lord, and he will live there always.’[1]

New International Reader’s Version

22 But Hannah didn’t go. She said to her husband, ‘When the boy doesn’t need me to breast-feed him anymore, I’ll take him to the LORD’s house. I’ll give him to the LORD there. He’ll stay there for the rest of his life.’

King James Version

22 But Hannah went not up; for she said unto her husband, I will not go up until the child be weaned, and then I will bring him, that he may appear before the LORD, and there abide for ever.
