11 inquiring what person or time[1] the Spirit of Christ in them was indicating when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the subsequent glories. (Isa 52:13; Da 9:24; Mt 26:24; Lu 24:26; Ac 3:18; Ac 16:7; Ro 8:9; 2Pe 1:21) 

New International Version

11 trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ in them was pointing when he predicted the sufferings of the Messiah and the glories that would follow. 

New International Reader’s Version

11 They wanted to find out when and how this salvation would come. The Spirit of Christ in them was telling them about the sufferings of the Messiah. These were his sufferings that were going to come. The Spirit of Christ was also telling them about the glory that would follow. 

King James Version

11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
