6 But when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet, as she came in at the door, he said, “Come in, wife of Jeroboam. Why do you pretend to be another? For I am charged with unbearable news for you. (1Ki 14:4) 

New International Version

6 So when Ahijah heard the sound of her footsteps at the door, he said, ‘Come in, wife of Jeroboam. Why this pretence? I have been sent to you with bad news. 

New International Reader’s Version

6 Ahijah heard the sound of her footsteps at the door. He said, ‘Come in. I know that you are Jeroboam’s wife. Why are you pretending to be someone else? I have some bad news for you. 

King James Version

6 And it was so , when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet, as she came in at the door, that he said, Come in, thou wife of Jeroboam; why feignest thou thyself to be another? for I am sent to thee with heavy tidings .
