English Standard Version

9 For it is written in the Law of Moses, “You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.” Is it for oxen that God is concerned? (De 25:4; 1Ti 5:18) 

New International Version

9 For it is written in the Law of Moses: ‘Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain.’ Is it about oxen that God is concerned? (De 25:4) 

New International Reader’s Version

9 Here is what is written in the Law of Moses. ‘Do not stop an ox from eating while it helps separate the corn from the straw.’ Is it oxen that God is concerned about? (De 25:4) 

King James Version

9 For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen?
