English Standard Version

28 Then he died at a good age, full of days, riches, and honor. And Solomon his son reigned in his place. (Ge 15:15; Ge 25:8; 1Ch 23:1) 

New International Version

28 He died at a good old age, having enjoyed long life, wealth and honour. His son Solomon succeeded him as king. 

New International Reader’s Version

28 He died when he was very old. He had enjoyed a long life. He had enjoyed wealth and honour. David’s son Solomon became the next king after him. 

King James Version

28 And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honour: and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.
