English Standard Version

12 These divisions of the gatekeepers, corresponding to their chief men, had duties, just as their brothers did, ministering in the house of the Lord. 

New International Version

12 These divisions of the gatekeepers, through their leaders, had duties for ministering in the temple of the Lord, just as their relatives had. 

New International Reader’s Version

12 Those groups of men guarded the gates. They worked under their leaders. They served at the LORD’s temple, just as their relatives had served. 

King James Version

12 Among these were the divisions of the porters, even among the chief men, having wards one against another, to minister in the house of the LORD.
