3 Then let us bring again the ark of our God to us, for we did not seek it[1] in the days of Saul.” (1Sa 7:1) 

New International Version

3 Let us bring the ark of our God back to us, for we did not enquire of[1] it[2] during the reign of Saul.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

3 Let’s bring the ark of our God back here to us. We didn’t use it to ask God for advice during the whole time Saul was king.’ 

King James Version

3 And let us bring again the ark of our God to us: for we enquired not at it in the days of Saul.
