Romans 9:7

English Standard Version

7 and not all are children of Abraham because they are his offspring, but “Through Isaac shall your offspring be named.” (Ge 21:12; Joh 8:33; Ga 3:29; Ga 4:23; Heb 11:18) 

New International Version

7 Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham’s children. On the contrary, ‘It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.’ (Ge 21:12) 

New International Reader’s Version

7 Not everyone in Abraham’s family line is really his child. Not at all! Scripture says, ‘Your family line will continue through Isaac.’ (Ge 21:12) 

King James Version

7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
