4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. (Ro 1:32; Ro 2:26; Ga 5:16; Ga 5:25) 

New International Version

4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 

New International Reader’s Version

4 Jesus does for us everything the holy law requires. The power of sin should no longer control the way we live. The Holy Spirit should control the way we live.
