Romans 8:12

English Standard Version

12 So then, brothers,[1] we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. (Ro 8:2) 

New International Version

12 Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation – but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. 

New International Reader’s Version

12 Brothers and sisters, we have a duty. Our duty is not to live under the power of sin. 

King James Version

12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
