English Standard Version

4 By no means! Let God be true though every one were a liar, as it is written, “That you may be justified in your words, and prevail when you are judged.” (Job 9:32; Ps 51:4; Ps 62:9; Ps 116:11; Joh 8:26; Ro 3:7) 

New International Version

4 Not at all! Let God be true, and every human being a liar. As it is written: ‘So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge.’ (Ps 51:4) 

New International Reader’s Version

4 Not at all! God is true, even if every human being is a liar. It is written, ‘You are right when you sentence me. You are fair when you judge me.’ (Ps 51:4) 

King James Version

4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
