3 For Christ did not please himself, but as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me.” (Ps 69:9; Joh 5:30; Joh 6:38; Php 2:5; Php 2:8) 

New International Version

3 For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: ‘The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.’ (Ps 69:9)

3 Even Christ did not please himself. It is written, ‘The bad things people have said about you have been aimed at me also.’ (Ps 69:9)
