19 Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it[1] to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” (De 32:35; Ps 94:1; Pr 20:22; Mt 5:39; Ro 14:19; 1Th 4:6; Heb 10:30) 

New International Version

19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the Lord. (De 32:35) 

New International Reader’s Version

19 My dear friends, don’t try to get even. Leave room for God to show his anger. It is written, ‘I am the God who judges people. I will pay them back,’ says the Lord. (De 32:35) 

King James Version

19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
