15 And the angel[1] said to me, “The waters that you saw, where the prostitute is seated, are peoples and multitudes and nations and languages. (Isa 8:7; Re 17:1)

15 Then the angel said to me, ‘The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages.

15 Then the angel spoke to me. ‘You saw the waters the prostitute sits on,’ he said. ‘They stand for all the nations of the world, no matter what their race or language is.

15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
