17 Then the dragon became furious with the woman and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. And he stood[1] on the sand of the sea. (Ge 3:15; 1Jo 2:3; Re 1:2; Re 6:9; Re 11:7; Re 13:7; Re 14:12; Re 19:10) 

New International Version

17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring – those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus. 

New International Reader’s Version

17 The dragon was very angry with the woman. He went off to make war against the rest of her children. They obey God’s commands. And they hold firmly to the truth they have said about Jesus. 

King James Version

17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
