Psalm 69:2

English Standard Version

2 I sink in deep mire, where there is no foothold; I have come into deep waters, and the flood sweeps over me. (Ps 40:2; Ps 69:14; Ps 124:4) 

New International Version

2 I sink in the miry depths, where there is no foothold. I have come into the deep waters; the floods engulf me. 

New International Reader’s Version

2 I’m sinking in deep mud. I have no firm place to stand. I am out in deep water. The waves roll over me. 

King James Version

2 I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.
