Psalm 32:5

English Standard Version

5 I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. (Job 33:27; Ps 38:18; Ps 51:3; Pr 28:13; Lu 15:18; Lu 15:21; 1Jo 1:9) 

New International Version

5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, ‘I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.’ And you forgave the guilt of my sin. 

New International Reader’s Version

5 Then I admitted my sin to you. I didn’t cover up the wrong I had done. I said, ‘I will admit my lawless acts to the LORD.’ And you forgave the guilt of my sin. 

King James Version

5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
