40 You made my enemies turn their backs to me,[1] and those who hated me I destroyed. (Ex 23:27; Ps 21:12)

40 You made my enemies turn their backs in flight, and I destroyed my foes.

40 You made them turn their backs and run away. So I destroyed my enemies.
