English Standard Version

9 You set a boundary that they may not pass, so that they might not again cover the earth. (Ge 9:11; Job 26:10) 

New International Version

9 You set a boundary they cannot cross; never again will they cover the earth. 

New International Reader’s Version

9 You drew a line they can’t cross. They will never cover the earth again. 

King James Version

9 Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.
