Proverbs 8:13

English Standard Version

13 The fear of the Lord is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate. (Ps 97:10; Pr 2:12; Pr 4:24; Pr 6:17; Pr 16:5; Pr 16:6) 

New International Version

13 To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behaviour and perverse speech. 

New International Reader’s Version

13 To have respect for the LORD is to hate evil. I hate pride and boasting. I hate evil ways and twisted words. 

King James Version

13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
