32 So they brought to the people of Israel a bad report of the land that they had spied out, saying, “The land, through which we have gone to spy it out, is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people that we saw in it are of great height. (Nu 14:36; Am 2:9) 

New International Version

32 And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, ‘The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size. 

New International Reader’s Version

32 The men spread a bad report about the land among the Israelites. They said, ‘The land we checked out destroys those who live in it. All the people we saw there are very big and tall. 

King James Version

32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.
