Numbers 11:18

English Standard Version

18 And say to the people, ‘Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow, and you shall eat meat, for you have wept in the hearing of the Lord, saying, “Who will give us meat to eat? For it was better for us in Egypt.” Therefore the Lord will give you meat, and you shall eat. (Ex 19:10; Nu 11:5) 

New International Version

18 ‘Tell the people: “Consecrate yourselves in preparation for tomorrow, when you will eat meat. The Lord heard you when you wailed, ‘If only we had meat to eat! We were better off in Egypt!’ Now the Lord will give you meat, and you will eat it. 

New International Reader’s Version

18 ‘Tell the people, “Set yourselves apart for tomorrow. At that time you will eat meat. The LORD heard you when you cried out. You said, ‘We wish we had meat to eat. We were better off in Egypt.’ Now the LORD will give you meat. And you will eat it. 

King James Version

18 And say thou unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow, and ye shall eat flesh: for ye have wept in the ears of the LORD, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt: therefore the LORD will give you flesh, and ye shall eat.
