English Standard Version

14 The standard of the camp of the people of Judah set out first by their companies, and over their company was Nahshon the son of Amminadab. (Nu 1:7; Nu 2:3) 

New International Version

14 The divisions of the camp of Judah went first, under their standard. Nahshon son of Amminadab was in command. 

New International Reader’s Version

14 The groups of the camp of Judah went first. They marched out under their flag. Nahshon was their commander. He was the son of Amminadab. 

King James Version

14 In the first place went the standard of the camp of the children of Judah according to their armies: and over his host was Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
