Nehemiah 9:31

31 Nevertheless, in your great mercies you did not make an end of them or forsake them, for you are a gracious and merciful God. (Ne 9:17; Ne 9:19; Ne 9:27; Jer 4:27; Jer 5:10; Jer 5:18) 

New International Version

31 But in your great mercy you did not put an end to them or abandon them, for you are a gracious and merciful God. 

New International Reader’s Version

31 But you loved them very much. So you didn’t put an end to them. You didn’t desert them. That’s because you are a gracious God. You are tender and kind. 

King James Version

31 Nevertheless for thy great mercies'sake thou didst not utterly consume them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious and merciful God.
