3 Then the chief priests and the elders of the people gathered in the palace of the high priest, whose name was Caiaphas, (Ps 2:2; Mt 26:57; Mt 26:58; Mt 26:69; Lu 3:2; Lu 11:21; Joh 11:47; Joh 11:49; Joh 18:13; Joh 18:15; Ac 4:6; Ac 4:27; Re 11:2)

3 Then the chief priests and the elders of the people assembled in the palace of the high priest, whose name was Caiaphas,

3 Then the chief priests met with the elders of the people. They met in the palace of Caiaphas, the high priest.
