27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Take heart; it is I. Do not be afraid.” (De 31:6; Isa 41:13; Isa 43:1; Mt 17:7; Joh 16:33) 

New International Version

27 But Jesus immediately said to them: ‘Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.’

27 Right away Jesus called out to them, ‘Be brave! It is I. Don’t be afraid.’
