English Standard Version

44 Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when it comes, it finds the house empty, swept, and put in order. 

New International Version

44 Then it says, “I will return to the house I left.” When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. 

New International Reader’s Version

44 Then it says, “I will return to the house I left.” When it arrives there, it finds the house empty. The house has been swept clean and put in order. 

King James Version

44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
