7 And he preached, saying, “After me comes he who is mightier than I, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie. (Joh 1:15; Joh 1:27; Joh 3:30; Ac 13:25)

7 And this was his message: ‘After me comes the one more powerful than I, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie.

7 Here is what John was preaching. ‘After me, there is someone coming who is more powerful than I am. I’m not good enough to bend down and untie his sandals. 

King James Version

7 And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.
