52 And all were weeping and mourning for her, but he said, “Do not weep, for she is not dead but sleeping.” (Mt 11:17; Lu 7:13; Lu 23:27; Joh 11:4; Joh 11:11; Ac 20:10)

52 Meanwhile, all the people were wailing and mourning for her. ‘Stop wailing,’ Jesus said. ‘She is not dead but asleep.’

52 During this time, all the people were crying and sobbing loudly over the child. ‘Stop crying!’ Jesus said. ‘She is not dead. She is sleeping.’
