English Standard Version

36 One of the Pharisees asked him to eat with him, and he went into the Pharisee’s house and reclined at table. (Lu 11:37; Lu 14:1) 

New International Version

36 When one of the Pharisees invited Jesus to have dinner with him, he went to the Pharisee’s house and reclined at the table. 

New International Reader’s Version

36 One of the Pharisees invited Jesus to have dinner with him. So he went to the Pharisee’s house. He took his place at the table. 

King James Version

36 And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat.
