33 For John the Baptist has come eating no bread and drinking no wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon.’ (Mt 3:4; Mr 1:6; Lu 1:15) 

New International Version

33 For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, “He has a demon.” 

New International Reader’s Version

33 That is how it has been with John the Baptist. When he came to you, he didn’t eat bread or drink wine. And you say, “He has a demon.”
