22 “Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man! (Mt 10:22; Joh 9:22; Joh 12:42; Joh 15:21; Joh 16:2; Heb 11:26; 1Pe 4:14) 

New International Version

22 Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. 

New International Reader’s Version

22 Blessed are you when people hate you, when they have nothing to do with you and say bad things about you, and when they treat your name as something evil. They do all this because you are followers of the Son of Man. 

King James Version

22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
