23 and when they did not find his body, they came back saying that they had even seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive. (Lu 24:3; Lu 24:4; Lu 24:9) 

New International Version

23 but didn’t find his body. They came and told us that they had seen a vision of angels, who said he was alive. 

New International Reader’s Version

23 But they didn’t find his body. So they came and told us what they had seen. They saw angels, who said Jesus was alive. 

King James Version

23 And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.
