English Standard Version

39 One of the criminals who were hanged railed at him,[1] saying, “Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us!” (Mt 27:39; Mt 27:44; Mr 15:32; Lu 23:35; Lu 23:37) 

New International Version

39 One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: ‘Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!’ 

New International Reader’s Version

39 One of the criminals hanging there made fun of Jesus. He said, ‘Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself! Save us!’ 

King James Version

39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
