Luke 1:27

English Standard Version

27 to a virgin betrothed[1] to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. And the virgin’s name was Mary. (Mt 1:16; Mt 1:18; Mt 1:20; Lu 2:4) 

New International Version

27 to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. 

New International Reader’s Version

27 He was sent to a virgin. The girl was engaged to a man named Joseph. He came from the family line of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. 

King James Version

27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.
