English Standard Version

27 Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin,[1] yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. (1Ki 10:4) 

New International Version

27 ‘Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labour or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendour was dressed like one of these. 

New International Reader’s Version

27 ‘Think about how the wild flowers grow. They don’t work or make clothing. But here is what I tell you. Not even Solomon in his royal robes was dressed like one of those flowers. 

King James Version

27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
