12 Then he killed the burnt offering, and Aaron’s sons handed him the blood, and he threw it against the sides of the altar. (Le 1:5; Le 8:19) 

New International Version

12 Then he slaughtered the burnt offering. His sons handed him the blood, and he splashed it against the sides of the altar. 

New International Reader’s Version

12 Then he killed the animal for the burnt offering. His sons handed him its blood. He splashed it against the sides of the altar. 

King James Version

12 And he slew the burnt offering; and Aaron' sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled round about upon the altar.
