Leviticus 5:6

English Standard Version

6 he shall bring to the Lord as his compensation[1] for the sin that he has committed, a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, for a sin offering. And the priest shall make atonement for him for his sin. 

New International Version

6 As a penalty for the sin they have committed, they must bring to the Lord a female lamb or goat from the flock as a sin offering[1]; and the priest shall make atonement for them for their sin. 

New International Reader’s Version

6 They must bring a sin offering to pay for the sin they have committed. They must bring to the LORD a female lamb or goat from the flock. The priest will sacrifice the animal. That will pay for the person’s sin. 

King James Version

6 And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.
