Leviticus 24:20

English Standard Version

20 fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; whatever injury he has given a person shall be given to him. 

New International Version

20 fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. The one who has inflicted the injury must suffer the same injury. 

New International Reader’s Version

20 A bone must be broken for a bone. An eye must be put out for an eye. A tooth must be knocked out for a tooth. The one who has hurt his neighbour must be hurt in the same way. 

King James Version

20 Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him again .
