Leviticus 12:8

8 And if she cannot afford a lamb, then she shall take two turtledoves or two pigeons,[1] one for a burnt offering and the other for a sin offering. And the priest shall make atonement for her, and she shall be clean.” (Le 1:14; Le 4:26; Le 5:7; Le 12:6; Lu 2:24)

8 But if she cannot afford a lamb, she is to bring two doves or two young pigeons, one for a burnt offering and the other for a sin offering. In this way the priest will make atonement for her, and she will be clean.” ’

8 But suppose she can’t afford a lamb. Then she must bring two doves or two young pigeons. One is for a burnt offering. The other is for a sin offering. The priest will sacrifice those offerings. That will pay for her sin. And she will be ‘clean’. ” ’
