Joshua 1:4

English Standard Version

4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun shall be your territory. (Ge 15:18; Ex 23:31; Nu 34:3) 

New International Version

4 Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates – all the Hittite country – to the Mediterranean Sea in the west. 

New International Reader’s Version

4 Your territory will reach from the Negev Desert all the way to Lebanon. The great River Euphrates will be to the east. The Mediterranean Sea will be to the west. Your territory will include all the Hittite country. 

King James Version

4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.
