19 On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews,[1] Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.” (Lu 24:33; Lu 24:36; Joh 7:13; Joh 14:27; Joh 20:26; 1Co 15:5)

19 On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, ‘Peace be with you!’

19 On the evening of that first day of the week, the disciples were together. They had locked the doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Jesus came in and stood among them. He said, ‘May peace be with you!’

19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
