John 1:12

English Standard Version

12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, (Mt 5:45; Joh 11:52; Ga 3:26; 1Jo 3:1; 1Jo 5:1; 1Jo 5:13) 

New International Version

12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God – 

New International Reader’s Version

12 Some people did accept him and did believe in his name. He gave them the right to become children of God.
