16 Truly, truly, I say to you, a servant[1] is not greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. (Mt 10:24; Joh 15:20) 

New International Version

16 Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.

16 What I’m about to tell you is true. A slave is not more important than his master. And a messenger is not more important than the one who sends him.
