Jeremiah 50:38

English Standard Version

38 A drought against her waters, that they may be dried up! For it is a land of images, and they are mad over idols. (Isa 44:27; Jer 50:2; Jer 51:36; Jer 51:47; Jer 51:52) 

New International Version

38 A drought on[1] her waters! They will dry up. For it is a land of idols, idols that will go mad with terror. 

New International Reader’s Version

38 There will not be any rain for their rivers. So they will dry up. Those things will happen because their land is full of statues of gods. Those gods will go crazy with terror. 

King James Version

38 A drought is upon her waters; and they shall be dried up: for it is the land of graven images, and they are mad upon their idols.
