Jeremiah 29:19

English Standard Version

19 because they did not pay attention to my words, declares the Lord, that I persistently sent to you by my servants the prophets, but you would not listen, declares the Lord.’ (Jer 25:4) 

New International Version

19 For they have not listened to my words,’ declares the Lord, ‘words that I sent to them again and again by my servants the prophets. And you exiles have not listened either,’ declares the Lord. 

New International Reader’s Version

19 That’s because they have not listened to my words,’ announces the LORD. ‘I sent messages to them again and again. I sent them through my servants the prophets. And you who were taken to Babylon have not listened either,’ announces the LORD. 

King James Version

19 Because they have not hearkened to my words, saith the LORD, which I sent unto them by my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them ; but ye would not hear, saith the LORD.
