Jeremiah 25:12

12 Then after seventy years are completed, I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, the land of the Chaldeans, for their iniquity, declares the Lord, making the land an everlasting waste. (Isa 13:19; Jer 25:11; Jer 51:24; Jer 51:26; Jer 51:62) 

New International Version

12 ‘But when the seventy years are fulfilled, I will punish the king of Babylon and his nation, the land of the Babylonians,[1] for their guilt,’ declares the Lord, ‘and will make it desolate for ever. 

New International Reader’s Version

12 ‘ “But I will punish that king and his nation because they are guilty. I will do this when the 70 years are over,” announces the LORD. “I will make that land a desert for ever.

12 And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the LORD, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.
