Jeremiah 15:2

English Standard Version

2 And when they ask you, ‘Where shall we go?’ you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Those who are for pestilence, to pestilence, and those who are for the sword, to the sword; those who are for famine, to famine, and those who are for captivity, to captivity.’ (Jer 14:12; Jer 16:4; Jer 21:9; Jer 43:11; Eze 5:12; Eze 6:11; Zec 11:9)

2 And if they ask you, “Where shall we go?” tell them, “This is what the Lord says: ‘ “Those destined for death, to death; those for the sword, to the sword; those for starvation, to starvation; those for captivity, to captivity.”

2 Suppose these people ask you, “Where should we go?” Then tell them, “The LORD says, ‘ “ ‘Those I have appointed to die will die. Those I have appointed to be killed by swords will be killed by swords. Those I have appointed to die of hunger will die of hunger. Those I have appointed to be taken away as prisoners will be taken away.’ ”
