Isaiah 29:20

English Standard Version

20 For the ruthless shall come to nothing and the scoffer cease, and all who watch to do evil shall be cut off, (Isa 28:14; Isa 28:22) 

New International Version

20 The ruthless will vanish, the mockers will disappear, and all who have an eye for evil will be cut down – 

New International Reader’s Version

20 Those who don’t show any pity will vanish. Those who make fun of others will disappear. All those who look for ways to do what is evil will be cut off.

20 For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off:
